EC-12The EAST COAST 12 METER is based on a 1962-63 vintage design for a full sized International 12 meter yacht.This medium sized hull is 59" in length, displaces approximately 23 lbs. and has a mast height of 72". It is currently the largest boat that our club sails and the hull must be purchased from a class certified builder. Decks, rig and sails are strictly controlled but may be purchased or scratch built. The cost to build this boat is about $1700.

2019 EC-12 Valentines Regatta Results
This year's Regatta was a great success, with 14 skippers competing for trophies. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this event happen.

2018 EC-12 Valentines Regatta Results
Many ways to describe this regatta but first it was FUN. Wild and wooly was the wind with huge shifts and B rig for most of Sunday. The course was challenging with many changes in positions during each heat of a windward- leeward two and a half lap course.
SPECIAL RECOGNITION:

Steve recognized during the awards ceremony, in memory of his Dad, Fred Pfeil who passed away last year. Fred had sailed in the Valentines Regatta in 2016. His son Steve sailed his Dads boat in our regatta this year. George Balaschak had found a 1970 One Design and Offshore Yachtsman magazine with mention of Fred Pfeil in it and gave it to Steve and his mom Barbara, Pfast Pfreddy Phiels wife, (Dick Reinke’ s sister) at the awards ceremony. Steve placed 7th in the Regatta.
